TCS Closing and Delays
We will announce our school status as early as possible. The earliest listings are posted on WMFD TV (Channel 68).
Those parents, who must drop off their students early, must wait until 9:00 a.m. They must also understand that our status could change from delayed to closed at any time.
All students who arrive prior to 9:45 must enter the gymnasium through the trophy room door, #3. They are to bring reading or study materials to occupy themselves until school starts. (For safety reasons, students will not be allowed to play ball in the gym.) A faculty member will be on duty to supervise the students.
Classes begin at 10:00 a.m. sharp. Students must be in their seats, ready to begin their day by the 10:00 a.m. bell. The media will report us as a Two-Hour Delay, but school will begin at 10:00 a.m. on delay days.
There will be no K4 or K5 classes on delay days.
Should our status change from delayed to closed, we will notify the parents that students are to be picked up within the hour of notification and/or the media announcement on WMFD. (It is imperative that we have accurate contact information in the school office.)
